Recoil TC is proud to be selected as the Mayor's Chosen Charity for 2025

 

​Cllr Jay Laplain has represented the Warley Ward as a councillor since 2019.  He has chosen two local charities for his Mayoral fundraising initiatives this year; Recoil Trampoline Club and the The Wilderness Foundation UK

​

Cllr Laplain said 'Brentwood is a place with a strong sense of community, and I am looking forward to working closely with residents and local groups to support the work that matters to people'

​

The Mayor will be arranging many and varied fundraising events, which we hope you will support.

Recoil's Trampoline coach awarded in the Queen's New Year Honours list

Tricia Sharpe, a Trustee of Recoil Trampoline Club and founder of the Trampoline & Activity Centre, has been honoured by Her Majesty the Queen in the 2021 New Years honours list. She has been awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for her Services to British Gymnastics.

Asked how she felt about her award she said 'To be recognised in the Queens News Years Honours List for something that I have always got an enormous amount of pleasure and pride from, is wonderful.' She continued 'I am very excited to receive the British Empire Medal and feel humbled to be in such great company on the list the year'.
